Rosemary and Thyme Beef Burgers

These homemade rosemary and thyme beef burgers are a real family favourite recipe. They're so simple to make and so much better than shop-bought ones.

Ingredients

500 g minced steak ideally 15-20% fat
½ teaspoon dried rosemary
½ teaspoon dried thyme
1 garlic clove crushed
Pinch black pepper
Pinch salt

Instructions

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mash together with your hands. Form into burgers and then put them in the fridge to rest for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side.
Serve on your choice of burger bun with any sauces or accompaniments you like.
